How do you become BAFE-registered?

To become BAFE-registered, you need to complete competency assessments that are delivered by UKAS Accreditated Certification Bodies and licensed by BAFE. Completion of these competency tests means that you can become Third Party Cetificated and BAFE registered in one or multiple specialised areas of fire safety. 

What does being on the BAFE register mean? 

At Nortec Fire, we are BAFE-registered in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems. We are third-party certificated by NICEIC, a certification provider for electrical businesses that helps to signify that our business meets the highest technical and safety standards. 

This certification demonstrates our understanding of the products and installation requirements involved in the design of a fire detection system as well as our knowledge of other safety systems such as emergency lighting.
