As a BAFE and FIA-registered company, we have the knowledge and expertise to confidently deliver required fire safety work, fostering long-term relationships with clients and providing peace of mind throughout the process.

We bring a practical and hands-on approach to our fire safety services, taking the time to understand the people, the properties and their changing fire safety requirements. With a caring and customer-centric approach, we keep up-to-date on the regulatory standards and offer our clients direct and honest advice on how best to safeguard their premises.

Paul Allen

Owner & Managing Director

Paul is an FIA and BAFE qualified fire safety engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Paul has worked on a range of complex projects throughout the North East and is an expert in performance-based fire engineering design, installation and commissioning.

Tara Allen

Director

With over 20 years’ experience as a senior leader for a variety of businesses from charities and small family-owned companies to multinational organisations, Tara is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Nortec team, from operational management and finance strategy to team development.
