About Steve
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across the design, commissioning, maintenance and optimisation of life safety systems in a wide range of environments. I enjoy using that experience to solve problems, support customers and make sure systems continue to perform as they should.
Originally from Cumbria, I’m now helping to grow Nortec Fire’s presence across the region. Having strong local connections means a lot to me, and I enjoy building relationships with customers and providing the dependable, personal service that Nortec Fire is known for.
My experience with Gent systems is a particular specialism, and I’m always happy to share that knowledge with both customers and colleagues when tackling more complex technical requirements.
Outside of Nortec Fire, I’m involved in local radio, helping to keep programme schedules organised and the music playing. It requires plenty of attention to detail and occasionally staying calm when things don’t quite go to plan, so perhaps it’s not that different from fire engineering after all!
