About Olly

I’m currently working towards my End Point Assessment, developing my skills and experience across a wide range of fire safety systems. My day-to-day role includes carrying out fire alarm testing, emergency lighting inspections and AOV testing, alongside fault finding and supporting installation work across the North East. I’m continually learning, from working with different fire alarm panels and systems to developing my technical knowledge alongside Nortec Fire’s experienced engineers.

One of the things I’m most proud of is having my own van and being trusted to manage my scheduled jobs independently. I also really enjoy larger installation projects where the team comes together. There’s always a great atmosphere, and I learn a huge amount from working alongside everyone.

I’d love to continue developing my career with Nortec Fire after completing my apprenticeship and become a highly skilled, multi-disciplined engineer.

Outside of work, I enjoy football, going to the gym and anything to do with cars, especially fast, sporty ones.
