I’ve worked in the fire and security industry since 1988, with my interest in engineering starting at an early age. My father was an electrician and later a Project Manager, and hearing about his work sparked my own interest in becoming an engineer.

About Neil
Over the years, I’ve installed and commissioned fire and security systems across an incredibly varied range of environments, from local shops and offices to stately homes, large student accommodation developments, multi-storey office buildings and a three-year power station project.
I joined Nortec Fire as a Senior Project Engineer, working closely with clients from initial site visits and design through to quotations, installation and project delivery. Precision is incredibly important to me, and there’s a real sense of satisfaction in completing a project and being able to say, “We did that.”
I’ve known Paul and the Nortec Fire team for many years, and it’s fantastic to now be part of a team with such a wealth of experience.
Outside of work, I’m still fascinated by technology. My son and I have a workshop in the garden where we experiment with new products and find out how things work.
